There are many types of cardio workouts that work for fatloss but the best cardio workout for fatloss is a full body circuit that burns tons of fat and calories while improving endurance, strength, mobility, and function.
Chek's full body cardio circuit workout is an excellent example of this. His workout includes movement patterns that not only torch fat but build a lean and super fit body too.
As he explains in the video the best way to come up with your own fat burning exercises circuit is to include movement patterns that improve your fitness level for the activities or sports you enjoy.
If you just want to try the circuit he's doing in the video you would do 30 seconds of each exercise listed below then rest until you get your heart rate down to 60% of max which can take up to 3 minutes for some or 45 sec. for others who are in insanely great shape. Then repeat the circuit up to 6 times. I would try for 4 rounds to start with.
Rope Undulation & Rope Spirals
Lateral Jumps (do without bosu if you don't have one)
Vipr Deadlift Split Jerk (you can use dumbbell or sandbag or kettlebell) *if I got the name wrong please feel free to let me know
Stability Ball Pushup w/Rotation (do without ball or from knees w/side plank instead)
Tornado Ball Lateral Slams (many many modifications for this with other equipment)
KB Lateral Swing
I'm filming my own version of this type of fatloss cardio workout later this week. It's very different than Chek's cardio circuit but is based on his primal pattern movements which are amazing for both fatloss and a fit healthy body.
