How do you cool down after a hard workout or a long day of your favorite sport or activity? Do you cool down at all or just head to the shower?
Two of the worst things you can do after a workout are traditional stretches or no stretches at all and I will be the first to admit that I'm guilty of doing too much of both.
The major downside of not undoing the damage from your workouts correctly is that your cortisol levels stay elevated and this slows down the recovery process which in turn affects how much fat you burn the 48 hours after your workout.
If you want to burn more fat after an intense fatloss workout like many of the ones here on FWG, then do your body a favor and perform some type of mobility/flexibility flow after your workouts. It only takes 3 minutes and can be done anywhere!
