Got a fitness bucket list? A friend recently told me she's entering a bucket list competition at her gym to stay motivated with her workouts. I think this is a great way to stay on track with your workouts for life.
Here's my quick fitness bucket list. This is what drives me to stay consistent with my workouts every week. Do you have a fitness bucket list? Share what's on it and enter to win a cool mystery prize in June.

Hi Monica, I love the idea of a fitness bucket list - I enjoyed developing mine:
Start running again ? injury free (almost there) Do 30 pushups easily Yoga ? slow down my breathing, increase my flexibility, & master the Crane Pose Take more & different types of yoga classes (including a class w/ my 4 year old daughter) Take martial arts classes (when my daughter gets older, maybe she?ll take them w/ me)
Things I've crossed off my bucket list:
Completed a marathon, 2 half-marathons, 15+ 10ks (I lost count) Yoga ? improved my balance (I couldn?t stand on one leg without tipping over to save my life after a few seconds) & even mastered poses I never thought I could do (wheel, revolved big toe, warrior half moon). I credit yoga for enabling me to be able to do push-ups. Bikram Yoga Class (not as difficult as I thought it would be) Pilates Class (it?s okay ? I think I needed a more challenging instructor) Self Defense Classes (refresher courses I take every few years from a Jujitsu master) Kickboxing Class (loved it - literally kicked my butt) 40+ open water scuba dives (includes 7 dives in Fiji during our honeymoon) Surfing (tried it - didn?t like it) Skydiving once (scary ? loved it) Kayaked Na Pali Coast, Kauai (3 times - awesome) Weight-training ? finally incorporated it as a normal part of my workout routine after just running for 16 years (started off w/ a pair of 5-lb free weights & now up to 12-lbs) Hiking with friends ? sometimes for hours at a time (really not my thing) at Kauai?s Na Pali Coast, Maui, Oahu Horseback riding (didn?t care for it) Running on the beach & doing Yoga on the beach as much as I can
One thing I?ve learned is to keep an open mind & try out different things ? even though I may not necessarily like it I never regret trying it out. In addition, I usually workout at home so trying out different fitness classes at the gym with friends is a good change of scenery.

great bucket list by: Monica
Thanks for sharing your list. You've already done so much stuff and I just love your attitude about keeping an open mind. That's what it's all about for me too.
Anybody can post their list below and please don't feel you need to post one as long as mine and Jeri's.
For the longest time the only thing on my list was hiking and doing regular pushups. My list has gotten longer over the years because I don't limit myself anymore. Post 1 or 2 things if you like!

love your bucket list by: Monica
Hey Elyse
I love your bucket list! Wakeboarding looks so fun. You've done some pretty awesome stuff. It's not the size of your list that's important but the motivation you get from trying new things that really matters : )
