post pregnancy workout plan

I am 35 years old. Four years ago I weighed 103 pounds and was 5 foot 1 inch tall and my clothing size was a size 2 short for bottoms and extra small for tops. That was my normal weight and size all through my twenties and early thirties.

Since that time, I have gotten married and been pregnant 8 times and had 4 live births(all within 4 years time span) Now I am still 5 foot 1 inch tall but, my weight is 158 pounds. I feel fat and disgusting. It is depressing to me to be so big. I still look 6 months pregnant.

I have tried every diet plan I can think of. I breast feed all of my children which is supposed to burn 1000 calories per day. My husband is catholic and comes from a big family and wants a big family. I love my children and would love to have more children but, I really really want my size 2 body back. How can I quickly and safely flatten my tummy and loose this weight?

how to lose baby weight (even after 4 kids)
by: Anonymous

Hi Melissa

Well I totally understand how frustrated you are because I went through the same (just with one child).

Here's 3 steps you need to take right now to lose the baby fat plus a great post pregnancy workout plan that you'll want to check out.

1. Start journaling every single thing that goes in your mouth and track your calories for 7 days. You will be blown away by the amount of food you are consuming. It happens to all moms. Some moms eat too little (skip meals) but most eat too much (digging into everybody's leftovers or eat like our husbands). Multiply your weight by 10 and this is roughly the number of calories you should be consuming just to maintain. Want to lose baby weight then cut about 100 calories per day and burn another 200 per day via exercise.

2. Diet alone won't work. Get on a challenging but time efficient workout plan like my lose belly fat boot camp plan (it's free). One of the biggest mistakes I made with my post pregnancy workout plan was working out at a low intensity for 60 minutes at a time. This won't cut it for busy moms who need results, motivation, and energy. 20-25 mintues of challenging circuits 3 times a week plus 15-20 minutes of cardio intervals 2 times a week is all you need. The key is only doing the most effective exercises.

3. Start donating your fat clothes. I had size 12 (yuk) 10 8 6 4 and 2. My closet was like a dept. store. I put all the clothes I fit into on one side and the rest on the other. My goal was to eat healthy enough and workout hard enough to burn fat, get smaller, and start donating 1-2 pieces of fat clothes every few weeks. This simple exercise worked wonders for me. 8 weeks after I got serious with my diet and exercise I went from a size 12 to a size 8. I got rid of all the fat clothes so I had no choice but to keep going down. 4 weeks later I was in a size 6 and a few months later I was in a size 4. It took me a while longer to get down to the size 2 but knowing that I had no fat clothes to fit back into kept me going. Find your reason for wanting this and you can do it too.

workout with kids

Another way to get killer cardio is to workout with your kids. I head to the park with my son every weekend and we come up with silly obstacle courses that use all the equipment. We spend about 30-45 minutes running around with very short breaks and it really burns fat and calories. You have 4 so that should be even more fun. Watch the video for more ideas.
